Lent is a 40-day season of preparation and worship in anticipation of Easter. Traditionally, Lent has been set aside for penitence, prayer, and self-denial. Over the next six weeks, we will be practicing Lent together as a community in 3 specific ways:

  1. Meditating on the weekly devotional provided and praying for 3 people in your life who don’t know Jesus
  2. Fasting from all food (if possible) on the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday prior to Easter, and breaking the fast together at a potluck before our Good Friday gathering
  3. Celebrating together at our Easter gathering on April 1 and inviting the 3 people you’ve been praying for to join you
