Sunday Funday

Our 3rd-6th Graders invite you to join Sunday Funday!
On Sunday, April 21st, the whole church family is invited to join the elementary students monthly rhythm of playing together! We'll be getting together on the blacktop by Newport Elementary at 11am after service – bring a lunch, a ball to play with, and your blades, and we'll have the best time together!

The Business Model Generation Workshop

The Caring for Non-Profits Circle invites you The Business Model Generation Workshoppresented by Hildegard College, in partnership with Redemption Church on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 from 5:00-8:30pm at FLDWRK.

Is there a problem in the world that you feel called to help solve?

  • Are you committed to the health of a specific community?

  • Do you have an idea, product, program, or service that you want to grow into a viable organization?

  • Are you facing challenges in the early to mid stages of your organization, wanting more guidance and tools to move forward?

Good Friday Service

This Good Friday we will be doing a Seder dinner as the culmination of our Lenten Journey through Exodus, looking at what it means to be Family in the Wilderness.

We will start the evening with a potluck dinner to break our fast. Please bring enough food for 8-10 people. We will provide drinks, dessert, and bread. Here are this year’s dish assignments:

  • A-L: Soup, Casserole, or Hot Dish

  • M-Z: Salad, Fruit, or Veggie

Women’s Spring Bible Study Kick-Off

Were you inspired by the Exodus panel? Join us for the Women's Spring Bible Study! We will be journeying through the second portion of Exodus with Jen Wilkin's book, God of Freedom. This Bible study will be every Thursday at 9am, starting on March 7th – it is a 10 week study, and will be held at Allison Sanden's home. This study is open for all, even if you did not participate in the study of the first half of Exodus! Please RSVP here to let us know you're coming!

You are invited to counter culturally create space to be present to Christ in the Christmas season. Starting Monday November 27 at 6am, Christine will facilitate an hour on zoom that includes contemplative prayer, reflection, and scripture. The same session will be offered Thursdays from 8pm- 9pm.You can choose the morning or evening session. Together we will dive deeper into our church family’s Advent theme: Fear Not for He is Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.  

We have chosen zoom to remove obstacles of travel time in the early mornings and evenings.  And we hope to equip you to create contemplative space in your home that lasts beyond  Christmas.

You will receive more info. and the zoom link before Monday, November 27 when you sign up by Wednesday, November 22nd here OR find the link in the weekly.
